Website Redesign: 16-Hrs for Life
The Challenge
16-hrs for Life is a weight-loss management program with personalized support that teaches people how to lose weight and keep it off.
The previous website call to action was to discuss the program via a scheduled call, which was not sustainable for a growing business that is positioned to scale.
The branding and imagery were not on point. There was a lot of information available on the site which felt overwhelming.
The Solution
During the Clarifying your Message workshop, we identified 16hrs-for-Life’s ideal clients and who they wanted to work with.
We articulated the current situation their clients were facing and the problem they tried to solve and guided them to the solution.
We also understood that with so much information out there – having a ‘Get the Facts’ category page was a way for potential clients to understand the science behind the approach and why this program will work for them.

The Long Form Sales page
The main product for the 16-Hrs for Life website was the 12-week program with the same name. For this reason, the home page became the program/sales page with supporting pages in the top menu and the footer area.
This page helps people self-identify whether they are a good fit and then explains why this program is ideal for them.
The page included the following sections:
- Self-identifying problem statements
- Authority and Empathy statements from the founder
- How the program is the ideal solution
- Peer Review of the program
- Testimonials, both in written form and videos
- Pricing Table
- What you get as part of the program
- Results obtained by previous clients
- Frequently asked questions
- An option to purchase a Kickstarter program.
The Solution details of ‘Get The Facts’ Page
The Category Landing page
One of the biggest obstacles clients of 16-hrs for Life need to overcome is trust that this program will actually work for them.
The website includes an active blog that is updated weekly – however, there is so much information that it is difficult to digest it all.
For this reason, the category landing pages are ideal for providing a list of the best articles on the blog for three of the main problems people want to solve.
The three main areas identified were
- Weight Loss
- Control Blood Sugar Levels
- Reducing Chronic Inflammation
For each category, three of the most popular blog posts were identified. Adding the posts here on this easy-to-digest page will help potential clients understand the science behind the program, and also sets the business up as an authority in this space.
